I was deeply fortunate to work with iam8bit once again to illustrate the vinyl soundtrack for The Red Lantern, a video game with striking and vivid visuals of the Alaskan tundra. The incredibly talented composer Hrishikesh Hirway (of Song Exploder fame) composed this beautiful soundtrack, and it was an honor to work with him on this project.
Including 2 covers, 2 sleeve illustrations, and 2 disc labels, this project allowed me to return to my painterly roots, the texture and depth of each piece invokes the brushstrokes and tactility of an elaborate oil painting. I also designed the disc labels with function in mind–as the vinyl spins, your dogsledding team races in circles around the needle.
A huge thank you to iam8bit and Timerline Studios for allowing me the opportunity.
